We stand at a pivotal moment. The challenges facing Texans right now are too real and too urgent to delay. It’s time to Run Forward.

Today’s political climate is more fractured, polarized, dysfunctional, and downright exhausting than ever. Both the Republican and Democratic parties have negative approval ratings. Neither holds a genuine majority. Independents, Texans who refuse to be told how to think, who refuse to be pigeon-holed into an ideological box, represent the state's largest voting bloc. It’s time we give them candidates they can believe in, not ones chosen by the two parties that got us into this mess.

The Department of Government Efficiency is about theatre and playing the media, not efficiency or reducing the size of government.

On Monday, February 19th, 2024, Democratic Governor of Wisconsin Tony Evers signed into law new state legislative maps that effectively end one of the worst gerrymanders in the country.

The Republican party took control of the Wisconsin state house and legislature in 2010 and promptly gerrymandered state legislative districts to give their party a huge advantage. In a state so evenly divided that only twice since 2000 has the presidential race been decided by more than one point, the Republicans hold nearly 2/3 of the seats in the state Senate and Assembly. The new maps should provide a much more balanced split in both chambers, more accurately reflecting the general electorate.
