Texas Forward Party Appoints State Secretary Brandon David as Interim State Vice Chair
AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Forward Party State Executive Committee is proud to announce the appointment of Brandon David as Interim State Vice Chair, effective Feb. 12, 2026.
The Texas Forward Party proudly welcomes systems builder, technology consultant, and concerned father Brandon David to this strategic leadership role. David transitions from State Secretary to Vice Chair, bringing extensive experience in technology strategy and supporting purpose-driven companies focused on nourishing people and protecting the planet. His appointment signals a shift from theory to action, from thinking to building.
"I’m honored to step into the role of Interim State Vice Chair," David said. "As a father raising two children in Texas, I have often felt the anxiety that comes with our current political divisiveness. But I realized that worry without action changes nothing. I am driven to help build a better Texas — one with civility, function, and real choices — by the time my two little ones are old enough to vote."
David assumes leadership at a critical juncture as the party ramps up operations for the 2026 election cycle. His immediate priorities will include scaling the party’s internal systems and supporting local leaders as they prepare for the County Precinct Conventions in March and the Inaugural State Convention in April.
"For too long, I’ve analyzed the problems from the sidelines," David added. "My focus in this new role is simple: enough thinking, start building. We are moving to a 'player-coach' model, where we roll up our sleeves and work alongside our local leaders to build a durable political startup that delivers results for the next generation."
