Rick ran twice for the US House of Representatives in Texas’ 17th District. That experience convinced him that Texas, and the country, desperately need alternatives to the legacy parties on their ballots. He has been the State Chair since March of 2022.

My journey to the Texas Forward Party has been an irregular trail that has led me from a job where I was asked to hold a shotgun as a debtor's truck was repossessed to my corporate job where I was known as a dragon-slayer because of my strong ethics and fearless watch over federal defense contract financial matters. I have always stood my ground. I stand with the Texas Forward Party.
